Norma Rhodes is a Vision Therapy Assistant for Brunswick Vision Therapy. She is currently under the guidance of Dr. Cassandra Higbea, where she conducts and implements vision therapy programs with the patients. Norma meets with patients in our office for 45 minute vision therapy sessions. She enjoys getting to know the patient and most of all, making them a better reader!! Norma wants to ensure that every session is smooth, positive, and a fun experience for every patient. When she is not performing vision therapy sessions, you will find Norma in the pretesting area preparing the patients to see the doctors. Norma is well-versed and she is also fluent in Spanish. If you need her to communicate in Spanish, she will be available to assist you. Communication is key in our office, and we want to make sure we can assist everyone and not have a language barrier impeding proper care.
Norma has 25 years experience working as an Early Childhood Educator with six of those years spent as administrator for a local preschool program. She was teaching part-time at a preschool before coming to Brunswick Eye and Contact Lens Center.
Norma resides in Ney with her husband, Rick, their son Ian, and their dog, Izzy. She also has 2 older step-sons, Kevin and Brandon and a granddaughter Sophia. In her spare time, Norma enjoys spending time with her 3 sons, family and friends.
